Proudly Supporting Our Local School’s Football Team
A brand-new football kit might seem like a small thing. But ask any child who has ever pulled on a matching shirt with their teammates for the first time, and they will tell you it feels like a very big deal indeed.
New Kit, New Confidence
Earlier this year, we had the chance to sponsor a full sports kit for a local school football team right here in Cumbria. The decision was honestly one of the easiest we have ever made. We know these kids. Some of them are our neighbours’ children. Their parents are our customers. This is our community, and supporting it feels natural.
The old kit had seen better days. Mismatched sizes, faded colours, a few shirts held together by hope more than anything else. The school had been doing their best on a tight budget, but sports funding is never at the top of the list when there are textbooks to buy and roofs to fix.
So we stepped in. New shirts, new shorts, the lot. And the reaction from the kids was genuinely brilliant.

That quote says it all, really. Confidence matters at any age, but especially when you are eight or nine years old and lining up against another school for the first time. Looking like a proper team, feeling like a proper team. it changes how kids carry themselves on the pitch.
More Than Fire Safety
People know us for fire alarms, extinguishers, risk assessments, and emergency lighting. That is our bread and butter, and we take it seriously. But running a business in Cumbria means being part of something bigger than the services you sell.
The thing is, local businesses are the backbone of communities like ours. We are based in Penrith, and our team lives and works across the county. When a school needs help, or a charity is looking for sponsors, or a local event needs a hand, we think it is right to show up.
Our Community Commitment

Sponsoring this football kit is just one example. We believe that strong local businesses and strong local communities go hand in hand. When one thrives, so does the other.
Watching those kids run out onto the pitch in their new gear was a highlight of our year. No question about it. They played with more energy, more togetherness, and yes, they won that match too.
Looking Ahead
We plan to keep finding ways to give back locally. Not because it is good marketing, although that is a nice bonus. Because it is the right thing to do. A fire safety company from Penrith helping kids play football might seem like an odd pairing, but that is the beauty of being a local business. You get to be involved in things that actually matter to real people.
